FAQ's:
What do I need to do to get a team together?
You need to firstly read and understand all the rules of
AZ Sports League Kickball. They are included on this site.
Then you need to fill your roster with as few as 11 players
or as many as 25 players. Remember that at least 4 players
must be female.
You must see that each member of your team signs the waivers
which will be provided by the league.
Read the List of Captain’s Duties included in the rules
packet.
Rosters:
Rosters are required by the first week. You can have up
to 12 players per roster. The rosters can be changed until
a predetermined time during the season when we lock them
down.
Players cannot play for 2 different teams in the same division,
if found doing so you will be subject to public humiliation,
and forfeiting the game... But seriously you'll forfeit
the game so don't try it!
Players are welcome to dual roster for teams in seperate
divisions but the captain must have them on their roster
at time of submission.
When will the final team schedules be out?
The final schedule will be out after the deadline for team
registration has passed.
I want to play but do not have a team, can I still
join the league?
Yes, you can! We are a very social group of people who are
always looking for new members. The best thing to do if
you are looking for a team to join is show up at one of
our open practices or at the games and introduce yourself.
Contact me directly, I know first hand teams that are needing
players.
Who can play?
Anyone who has signed a waiver is invited to play. We ask
that most of our members be over 21 since drinking does
take place. Players under 21 are required to be at least
18 and will be the "ward' of their team captain.
What are the dues for?
The money goes towards balls, fields, trophies, website,
merchandise, printer ink, awards, publicity and most importantly,
our huge, end of season party!!!
Who can I contact directly with questions?
Contact adam@azsportsleague.com at any
time with questions.
